Reautomatico is pleased to present the IKS9 and IKS15 high-speed incremental magnetic encoders from Bogen Magnetics. These encoders are perfect for motion control needs in linear motors and a variety of other motion control applications.

The IKS9 and IKS15 encoders are compact and rugged, available with either plastic or die-cast housing. Their IP67 protection rating ensures they can be installed in harsh industrial environments. The magnetic and contactless operation makes them insensitive to dust, oil, contaminants, and vibrations. They remain reliable even at high speeds up to 100 m/s and can achieve an accuracy better than 10 μm.

They can be paired with linear and even rotary scales offering a 20 μm accuracy class, with 10 and 3 μm classes available on request. The scales can be customized to the required length and specific needs. A reference track for homing functions can be encoded next to the incremental track. IKS9 encoders provide quadrature signals through Push-Pull and Line Driver outputs with a resolution down to 20 nm. IKS15 encoders are Sine-Cosine feedback systems and yield 1V or 2Vpp signals.
