The AC61 series combines a series of absolute rotary encoders with optical scanning that have been specially designed for use in extreme ambient conditions. The size 58 mm encoders have a stainless steel housing and are particularly suited to oil and gas applications, marine fittings, the food industry, packaging industry and offshore applications. As single-turn and multi-turn versions, these encoders achieve a resolution of up to 29 bits (17 bits single-turn, 12 bits multi-turn). Connection options are parallel output, Profibus, CANopen, CANlayer2, DeviceNet and Interbus.

Explosion-proof AX71 absolute encoders with a stainless steel housing have been designed specifically for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The pressure-resistant housing has been developed in compliance with the EN 60079 series of standards for use in explosive atmospheres and is permitted for use in environments where there is a risk of gas or dust explosion, zones 1 and 21. The encoders are available with BiSS / SSI / CANopen / Profibus / DeviceNET / SSI programmable interfaces for use in various applications.

DWD38 encoder: draw works threaded shaft with field replaceable adapters for reduced downtime, dual isolated outputs available for redundancy, anodized aluminum or stainless steel housing, 400G shock and 20G vibration independently validated. The draw works encoder allows for multiple encoders to be added to a draw works machine. The stainless steel 1/2″ NPT hubshaft can be used to stack up to five dual IS encoders thereby supplying feedback to ten control or measurement devices on a drill rig. The entire package is hardened to live up to the rigors of the roughneck’s job.  Application: Drawworks Drum Applications.

The HSD35 encoder is similar to Dynapar HS35R but with EPIC/Latching industrial connectors, stainless steel shaft/clamp and Viton seals making this and ideal encoder for Mill applications. With IEC standard B100 mounting flange and integrated double helix coupling, the EN44 is easy to mount with no additional hardware required. The hubshaft design compensates for motor shaft endplay and allows for shaft speeds up to 6,000 RPM. The EN44 eliminates the hassle of installing an intrinsically safe barrier providing a compact and easy to implement solution for oil & gas.
