Heavy Duty applications refer mainly to outdoor applications and harsh environments. Customer applications often require encoders adapted to conditions such as high temperatures, severe shock and vibration, high humidity and precipitation, sea salt, fog, dust, chemical environments and aggressive liquids. Even electric motors used in the harshest environments need feedback to ensure smooth speed control. Speed, precision and control are essential in the fast-moving pulp and paper industry. Steel mills are subject to some of the harshest conditions of any industry, requiring feedback products capable of withstanding harsh environments. Absolute or incremental encoders for steel mills operate in length positioning and speed tensioning applications within the casting and finishing processes of steelmaking, in particular controlling and monitoring the positions of pivoting buckets. R25 Series Resolver
Product DescriptionR25 series industry resolvers possess especially robust casings with protection class IP65. They are especially suitable for the use with high temperatures (+125 °C in long-term operation), and offer extraordinary values of vibration and shock resistance (40g as well as 200g), as well as noise immunity.
